Police Mitten Tree Project

PProves Successful

During the holiday season, approximately 80 new hats, scarves, and pairs of mittens were donated by the public to the police department’s “mitten tree” in the police station lobby.

 The department has been running the garment collection program for the needy for the past five Christmases.

The town’s social services department received the donated items and distributes them to local needy families.

The police department expressed thanks to those who donated garments in the project.
