Improv Comedy At Theater Barn
Improv Comedy
At Theater Barn
RIDGEFIELD â Start the year off right with another installment of the popular comedy night, âWhose Barn Is It Anyway?â on Saturday, January 7, at 8 pm, at Ridgefield Theater Barn.
The Role in the Hay Players will provide an evening of original comedy and hilarious skits.
Improvisation involves dialogue and actions created spontaneously in response to suggestions from the audience. There is no script and no plot.
Game playing techniques put the performers in situations where they must use their imagination and comedic instincts, and what evolves is a combination of stand-up comedy and game show, with hilarious results.
In the unpredictable world of improvisational comedy, anything can happenâ¦and usually does. But what makes improv so unique and engaging is that the audience participates in the mayhem.
Due to the spontaneous nature of improvisation, performances may contain adult language and themes that may not be suitable for some children. Parental discretion is advised.
Tickets are $22, $18 of which is tax-deductible, and proceeds will benefit the barnâs building fund. Doors open 7, the show begins at 8.
Seating is cabaret style and the audience is invited to bring food and beverage.
Ridgefield Theater Barn is at 37 Halpin Lane; call 203-431-9850 or visit RidgefieldTheaterBarn.org.
