Patricia A. Hill, 77, of New Milford died peacefully at home January 2, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 24, 1937, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Genevieve (Onorato) and Edward Young.

Her husband of 36 years, James; her son Michael A. Gillotti, and his wife Frances, of Newtown; sister Kathleen Teal of Laguana Woods, Calif.; her brothers Thomas Young, and his wife Cathy, of Seneca, S.C., and Robert Young, and his wife Janet, of Bridgewater; an aunt, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dogs survive Mrs Hill. Her son, Anthony Gillotti, predeceased her.

A resident of New Milford since 1946, Mrs Hill was a graduate of St Francis Parochial School in 1951, and New Milford High School in 1955. On March 17, 1978, she married James Hill in St Francis Xavier Church in New Milford.

Mrs Hill worked for SNET for more than 30 years in New Milford, before retiring out of the Danbury office. She was a past president of the SNET Union and a member of St Francis Xavier Church.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, January7, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 8, at 10 am, at St Francis Xavier Church, 26 Chestnut Land Road, New Milford. Internment will follow at Upper Merryall Cemetery, New Milford.
