Workshop For Those Experiencing Isolation In Caregiving
DANBURY â An upcoming workshop will provide education and support to individuals who are feeling isolated due to caring for a sick loved one.
âTechniques to Help With the Isolation of Caregivingâ will take place on Thursday, January 13, from 3 to 4:30 pm, at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, 73 Stadley Rough Road.
Caring for a loved one with a serious illness has many challenges. Through this workshop caregivers will explore different ideas and learn strategies to minimize the isolation of caregiving.
Phone trees, social media, personal care, and other techniques can help caregivers find a new perspective â small changes can make a difference.
The workshop will be facilitated by the Healing Hearts professional staff. The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program of Regional Hospice, has received national recognition for its unique programs and services for the community.
Healing Hearts offers numerous support groups, workshops, and programs to the public free of cost throughout the year.
