Free Movie At Edmond Town Hall, Saturday Night

The next free movie at Edmond Town Hall to be sponsored by Ingersoll Auto of Danbury will be the early evening screening of Love The Coopers on January 9.

The auto dealer and service center, owned by Todd Ingersoll of Newtown, has been offering at least one free movie screening in the town’s movie theater since January 2013. The offer is first come, first served. Edmond Town Hall is at 45 Main Street.

Love The Coopers will be at the town hall January 8-14. Evening s will be Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9, and Sunday through Thursday at 7. Matinees are planned for Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 pm, and Tuesday at 1.

Ingersoll Auto will cover the tickets for anyone attending the 7 pm screening Saturday night. Regular admission is $2 per person.

In the comedy released in November, four generations of the Cooper family gather together for what they hope will be a festive and joyous Christmas Eve celebration. A series of unexpected guest and events leads the Coopers toward a rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday. The film stars Diane Keaton and John Goodman, with Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried, Alan Arkin, Olivia Wilde, Marisa Tomei and Anthony Mackie.

Love The Coopers is rated PG-13. It has a running time of 1 hour, 47 minutes.

A free screening of Love The Coopers will be offered at Edmond Town Hall on January 9.
