The Choose Love Book Club, a free virtual monthly book discussion where people join together to connect, learn, and share insights after reading interesting and engaging books, will host the founder of the Choose Love Movement as its January guest author.

On January 26, Scarlett Lewis, who founded The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement following the death of her son on 12/14, will discuss her new book, From Sandy Hook to the World: How the Choose Love Movement Transforms Lives. The 60-minute live Zoom is scheduled to begin at 7 pm EST.

Lewis will share how she started a global movement and became a leader in social and emotional learning and character development, and how her mission has expanded through the support of courageous individuals who are taking responsibility for what’s going on in their schools, homes, and communities.

Special guests who are included in the book will also be on hand to share their stories of how the Choose Love Movement impacted their lives and how they are stepping up and addressing escalating issues in our society by being proactive and preventative.

From Sandy Hook to the World shares how one woman was inspired by her son and set out to build a culture of love, connection, kindness, and peace. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to learn how they can transform their own life through choosing love.

Released in October, the 244-page paperback is Lewis’s second book.

The program link will be shared upon registration, which can be done at chooselovemovement.org/choose-love-book-club.

The Choose Love Book Club has announced its January title and guest author.
