In an effort to help foster business opportunities in the greater Newtown area, the Newtown Chamber of Commerce continues to host free monthly networking events open to all local business professionals.

The next event will be held at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro, 97 South Main Street, on Wednesday, January 14, from 8 to 9 am. The guest speaker is Tom French, of Tom French Sales Coaching.

Mr French’s presentation, titled “Big Blunders of Sales Conversations,” will include an informative discussion on the classic blunders that cause initial sales conversations to fizzle. Mr French helps small business owners and sales leaders get more customers and improve results by strengthening fundamental sales skills.

His presentation aims to uncover the root cause of classic sales problems and explain how to avoid them in the future.

Breakfast networking sessions are sponsored on the second Wednesday of each month by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce. Light refreshments will be served; there is no charge to attend this event and reservations are not necessary.
