A Farewell For The Chief

About 50 town employees attended a cake-and-coffee retirement party on January 5 for Police Chief Michael Kehoe at Newtown Municipal Center. The cake bears an image of the shoulder patch worn by town police officers. The cake is framed by four sets of toy handcuffs. 
First Selectman Pat Llodra displays a laser-etched pewter plate bearing the Town of Newtown’s rooster seal, which was presented to Police Chief Michael Kehoe as a retirement gift. The chief’s name also is etched onto the plate. 
Police Chief Michael Kehoe socialized with some of the many well-wishers who attended a January 5 retirement party for him at Newtown Municipal Center. The chief’s last day at work was January 6.
