To the Editor:

The poem “Mirror Images” by Lauren Clifford was a personal challenge for her that turned out exceptionally well.

Agriculturally, historically and geographically reflecting the Town’s identities, it was an all encompassing written image of what was then, that reflects now on what is for us the Town.

It was a worthy endeavor for the December 1 edition of The Newtown Bee’s front page, where it was included in coverage of the recent swearing in events. Thank you Lauren Clifford!
