Thank you Newtown!

The Newtown Woman’s Club, Inc GFWC is thrilled to announce, the 2021 pewter ornament ‘911 Memorial Flag Trees’ has sold out.

Despite the obstacles of COVID, Newtown folks supported this vital fundraising effort. The following businesses and organizations have been important partners in our success: The Newtown Bee, Cyrenius H. Booth Library, The Toy Tree, and the Newtown Town Clerk’s Office.

Thank you for staying loyal and selling the ornament for us. Also, this year, a special thank you to the Newtown Community Center, ‘Sip & Shop’ event, and the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast for allocating space for our sale.

Sincere appreciation for Ben Cruson, acting Town Historian for contributing his excellent piece documenting the history of the 911 ornament, and to Michael Jehle, the ‘Flag Trees’ current owner.

Most of all — thank you Newtown collectors. Just wait until you see what we have in store for you this year. Get ready for 2022!
