Gucciardo Named     Marketing Director

3030 Park, a non-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Bridgeport, has announced the appointment of Diane M. Gucciardo of Newtown as director of marketing. She is responsible for managing outreach programs, conducting community tours, and coordinating marketing and public relations activities.

Ms Gucciardo formerly served as a consultant manager at 3030 Park Management Services, Inc., an affiliate of 3030 Park which provides counsel to developers of retirement communities.

Prior to joining 3030 Park, Ms Gucciardo served as a business broker for VR Business Brokers in Fairfield; general manager and director of food service for Service Systems/Marriott Corporation in Buffalo, N.Y.; director of food service and dietitian for Candlewood Valley Care Center in New Milford; instructor at the University of Connecticut in Storrs; owner and president of Diet Counseling, Inc., based in Stamford; and a sales representative with J. Rosenblum and Sons in Woodbridge, N.J.

In addition, she was the founder of the Connecticut Dietitians in Extended Care, a statewide professional association for registered dietitians, and a finalist in the Metro Award for Outstanding Food Service Management in 1982.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, Ms Gucciardo earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut. She also possesses a nursing home administrator’s license and is a registered dietitian.

3030 Park now offers newly renovated and expanded apartments, a state-of-the-art computer learning center and fitness center featuring the latest exercise equipment and strength training. The extensive renovation project also includes newly decorated lobbies, lounges, and hallways.
