HB&RA Installation And Awards

FAIRFIELD — Officers for 2001 were installed at the January meeting of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County held at Cinzanos in Fairfield. Marc Delmonico, state president, was the installing officer.

Joanne Carroll, JMC Resources, will serve a second term as president; Mike Heslin, Heslin Renovation & Restoration, first vice president; Neal Berko, Four Square Buildings, second vice president. Terence Beaty, William Pitt Real Estate, will be secretary, and Mary Boudreau of Pequot Financial will serve as treasurer.

Board of Directors members include William Pitt, III; Arnold Karp, Karp Associates; Ralph Grasso, ARS Partners; Andrew LaSala, Cannondale Building & Design; Karin Williams, Turnkey Associates; Peter McLoughlin, CFR Construction; Jonathan Redwood, Dimensions in Glass; Jim Sweeney, Safe & Sound; Ed Dayton, First County Bank; Mike Santa, Santa Energy Services; Kim DiMatteo, A.A. DiMatteo Ins. Crt.

Alternate directors include Dave Dyer, West Haven Lumber; Mike Viozzi, Wickes Lumber; Ron Sozio, Wells Fargo Mortgage; and Debra Wolfenson, Fireplaces by Superior. Mark Kirsch, Cohen & Wolf, will serve as legal counsel.

Life Directors (serving nine or more years) include John Murren, Murren-Kane; Greg Steiner, Steiner Inc.; Brian Dunne, Best Temps; Jes Dall, Clarke Builders; Richard Assenza, and Ira Davis, Sears.

The following awards were presented also: Arnold Karp, Karp Assoc., 2000 Builder of the Year; Mary Boudreau, Pequot Financial, Associate of the Year 2000; and 2000 Remodeler of the Year, Peter McLoughlin, CFR Construction. These awards were voted by their peers.
