Linda S. Turney

Linda (Sears) Turney died on January 13. She was born in Ansonia on September 28, 1946, and moved to South Florida 30 years ago.

An adored wife, loving mother, and respected and admired friend, Linda is survived by her husband, Stephen, son Mark, daughter Britta, parents John and Emily Sears, and grandson Brian. Her surviving four sisters, two brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends will also miss her.

Mrs Turney spent the majority of her career as a cardiovascular technologist and healthcare manager. However, her ultimate legacy will be that of a caring person whose selfless devotion to the needs of her family, friends, animals, and her community always preceded her own.

A memorial service was held on January 18, at E. Earl Smith & Son Memory Gardens on 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Fla.

Donations in her memory may be made to a local cancer, children’s cancer, or children’s treatment cause.
