Teen Self Esteem

DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury is offering a support group on “Teen Self Esteem” for adolescent girls. The group will explore the difference between growing up female and male, defining how the media impacts self esteem, creating a female family tree, and learning about healthy relationships. “Teen Self Esteem” will be conducted by two facilitators in a fun and interactive environment.

This free and confidential group will meet for eight Wednesdays beginning in February. Call the Women’s Center at 731-5200 for more information or to register.

In addition to support groups, the Women’s Center offers 24-hour hotlines, crisis intervention, counseling, education and prevention programs, workshops, and an information and referral Helpline.
