Evelyn (Della Corte) Uzar
Evelyn (Della Corte) Uzar, 79, of Stamford, died on January 20, at the Tandet Center, due to natural causes.
Born in Stamford on December 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Gervasio) Della Corte, she was a Stamford resident most of her life.
She was the mother of Janice M. Fulton of Newtown.
She was employee of Jet Party Favors of Stamford for 10 years, before retiring in 1979.
Survivors also include her husband, Chester Uzar, of Stamford; another daughter, Linda J. Uzar of New Milford; a sister, Emma Vita of Miami, Fla; three brothers, Thomas Della Corte of Pembroke Pine, Fla. and Victor Della Corte and Alfred Della Corte, both of Stamford; and one grandchild.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Caporizzo and Yolanda Brucoli, and two brothers, Matthew Della Corte and Nicholas Della Corte.
Services and interment were private.
