Anna P. Korchman, 78, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Harry Korchman, died January 30, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter to the late John and Irene Prion.

In addition to her loving husband, Harry, Mrs Korchman's memory will lovingly be remembered by her three children, Alan Korchman of Newtown, Diane Korchman of Manchester, and David Korchman of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Meghan, and Thomas Korchman, and Kelly and Jennifer McArthur; a niece; and several nephews. A sister, Irene Bodie, predeceased her.

She graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School with honors, and had worked as a bookkeeper for several restaurants. She was a great bowler and participated on the Amateur Bowling Tour. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, February 2, at 8:15 am, in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, and 9:30 am, at St Thomas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow at St Thomas Cemetery. Friends may greet the family Monday, February 1, from 4 to 8 pm, in the funeral home.
