The following closings, cancellations or delayed openings have been announced for Monday, February 2, 2015 (newest announcements will be added to the top of the listing):

*Yoga Dimension morning classes were cancelled. The status of afternoon and evening classes have not yet been determined.

*All town meetings scheduled for today have been cancelled. Public Building & Site Commission meeting has been rescheduled already, for 7 pm tomorrow at Newtown Municipal Center (change of location).

*Newtown Municipal Center will be closed today. 

*Club Newfit is closed today.

*C.H. Booth Library Director Brenda McKinley has announced the library will be closed today. No fines will be charged for anything due today.

*All Union Savings Bank branches will open at 10 am UPDATE (8:53 am): The bank will be opening its branches at 11 am.

*Newtown Municipal Center will have a delayed opening, at 10:30 am. (see update, above)

*Newtown public schools are closed today.
