Dinner & A ‘Broadway’ Show

DANBURY — Stage Door Productions will present nine performances of Broadway Bound, a revue of some of Broadway’s best musicals, at The Portuguese Cultural Center, 65 Sand Pit Road. This will be the first production of Stage Door Productions, an arts and entertainment committee at the cultural center.

Performances will be Friday 24-26, and March 3-5 and 10-12. Friday and Saturday evenings will begin with a reception at 5:30, and then continue with a buffet dinner at 6 and the show at 8. Sunday matinees will begin with a 12:30 reception, mid-day buffet at 1, and the show at 3.

Tickets are $25, which cover the show, reception and dinner. All shows will have a cash bar available.

Local performers of all ages attended auditions in November. Producers sought youths and adults who could sing and dance, especially tap dancers.

Broadway Bound will be a variety show saluting many of Broadway’s best musicals including Wicked, Chicago, The Full Monty, Annie Get Your Gun, Barnum, Crazy For You and many more.
