Dog Pound Support With Magnetic Appeal

This week people can begin to show their support for The Canine Advocates of Newtown Building Fund by displaying a car magnet on the back of the car. The magnets say “Support A New Pound for Newtown.”

For a minimum donation of $3 the magnets can be picked up at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street; Drug Center Pharmacy, 61 Church Hill Road; Newtown Car Wash, 1 Simm Lane; Mt Pleasant Hospital for Animals, 119 Mt Pleasant Road; and Yankee Discounts Wine & Liquor, 6 Queen Street.
