Getting Picture Perfect At The Library
Taking pictures these days is a snap, but once a picture is in digital format, creative effort does not end there.
What about that red eye? What about the paper cup on the floor in the background? Learn to edit prints for picture perfect results.
Michael Franco will be at C.H. Booth Library on Saturday, February 18, from 9 am to noon, for a fun and fact-filled demonstration class on âBasic Picture Editing.â Using Adobe Photoshop, participants will learn how to adjust pictures before printing them.
A second class, âFun Creations with Digital Photos,â will take place on Saturday, March 18, at 7:30 pm. Participants will learn how to make personalized calendars, baseball cards, pop-up cards and a slideshow. For this class, Mr Franco will be using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Microsoft Moviemaker, which is included in Windows XP software.
Both classes will include time for questions.
Mr Franco has been teaching digital photography classes at Wilton Library for several years. He has developed a reputation as an informed and enthusiastic instructor.Â
