Meeting Feb. 13

The next meeting of the Newtown Sandy Hook Vintage Base Ball Club has been slated for Monday, February 13, at 7 pm, at Hot Shots (off I-84 at Exit 9).

The club held its first meeting on January 31 at the Cyrenius Booth Library with 11 established and three new members in attendance. The team discussed prospects for next season and formation of a group to manage, market and operate the team in 2006.

It was clear to all that year two will be challenging and lots of hands will be required to make the season a success. As a result, it was determined that a follow-up meeting will enable the team to implement the many organizational, marketing and operational  projects before it.
