In Appreciation Of The Library

To the Editor:

The Cyrenius H. Booth Library has provided a rich, enjoyable, educational aspect to our lives in Newtown. It has with generosity, provided space to show my art, to show films, be a discussion leader, and have community meetings.

Not only does the library supply books, DVDs, etc, the staff have helped with research and have provided space where Harlan Jessup can help with genealogical research and where Dan Cruson brings us up to date on Newtown history. Library Director Janet Woycik gave Al Goodrich and Mary Mitchell support for their guide to Newtown hiking, and continue support for Al’s Trail. Plus, they on the staff are fun. Who can resist Kim Weber’s displays? See her latest on Newtown authors. And who can resist putting a piece of the puzzle together?
