Frederic Chiu To Perform

DANBURY — He has been described by music as “a pianistic genius” and credited with “reinventing a form of virtuosity … a phenomenon that must be heard.”

At 8 pm on Tuesday, February 10, the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Frederic Chiu will display his talent at Western Connecticut State University with a performance in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall, 181 White Street.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens, and will be available at the door.

Mr Chiu’s performance is being sponsored by WestConn’s Keyboard Club, established in 2003 to promote the study and performance of keyboard music.

The program will be of works by Sergei Prokofiev.
