Paddlers Club Meeting, Feb. 18

The Housatonic Valley Paddlers Club will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 18. The meeting will begin at 7 pm and will be at the CL&P Newtown Service Center on Barnabas Road in Newtown. Nonmembers are welcome.

Michele Sorenson, a certified ACA instructor from Kayak Adventure, LLC, will demonstrate paddling techniques and discuss safety measures for kayakers. There will be opportunities to learn about sweep strokes, leaned turns, proper towing, strobe lights and more.
