Another Big Reason For School Vouchers

To the Editor,
It has surfaced in the national limelight the situation that occurred in Brookfield regarding tampon dispensers in the boy’s room — soon to rear its ugly head in the Newtown School District (amongst others) by around the fall semester. Of course the excuse from our superintendent may be “It’s a state mandate, our hands are tied.” Our public school system is broken and sick. Would you please teach what our kids need to learn? (This is not criticizing the theaters, they are only following “directives.”)
Want a tampon? Go to the nurse’s office. So, where are the adults in the room? There aren’t any … oh, that’s right, DEI is the bible now. Another big reason for school vouchers.

“On and after September 1, 2024 …board of education shall provide free menstrual products in women’s restrooms, all-gender restrooms and at least one men’s restroom, which restrooms are accessible to students in grades three to twelve, inclusive, in each school under the jurisdiction of such boards”.Brookfield had to be ‘me first’. My questions is “Third graders”. Let’s push Hartford to fix this blunder.
