** VOLUNTEERS NEEDED **

Would you like to help with the organization of the second annual Newtown Road Race? The first general meeting will be held Saturday, February 10, at 9 am, in the Head O’ Meadow School cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend. This 5K race/walk and kids run is a wonderful opportunity to become involved with a highly successful event that benefits Newtown Youth Services. Last year’s race raised more than $25,000.

Come to the meeting and find out how just a few hours of your time can make a difference for the youth of Newtown. Volunteering is also a terrific way to make new friends. For additional information, call NYS, 270-4335, or visit newtownroadrace.com.

HSYAB will meet on Monday, February 12, at 2 pm, in the high school cafeteria.

Both classes will meet for a total of 12 sessions over the six weeks from 2:15 to 3:15. The cost is $120 and will take place at The Fitness Loft on Simm Lane. To register for this program, call NYS at 270-4335.
