From audio books and cartoons to documentaries, commercials, and more, this class will introduce students to the growing field of voice over. Students will learn what the pros look for, how to prepare, and where to find work in the area. The class will discuss industry pros and cons and play samples from working voice professionals. In addition, students will have an opportunity to record a short professional script under the direction of the teacher. More information about the course is also available online at voicecoaches.com/gpttTotally Toned - A six-class course, starting March 2, from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm, $59. Join the class to tone up and have fun. Each class will include a warm-up, toning exercises using handheld weights or the body's own resistance and stretching. This course will help students tone up and increase metabolism by increasing muscle cells. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring bottled water, an exercise or yoga mat, and a pair of hand weights to each class (3 pounds for beginners and 5 pounds or more for advanced).Windows 10, An Overview - A one-class course, March 6, 6:30 pm to 9 pm, $39. Microsoft Windows 10 is planned as the last major release of Windows. Windows 10 has a brand-new browser, a new digital assistant (called Cortana), several significant user interface changes, and other changes as well. The course will help those with a new Windows 10 device or those thinking of purchasing one. The one-night class will offer a demonstration and discussion of Windows 10, with a focus on what is new and different.Cardio Calorie Blast- A 12-class course, offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 7, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, $89. The class will help students get fit, have fun, and relieve stress. Students will increase their energy with this uplifting and upbeat class that provides three workouts in one. This efficient and effective workout will include aerobics, toning exercises, and yoga stretching. Utilize the latest fitness principles to maximize calorie and fat burning, in addition to ways to increase the intensity of exercise. All levels of fitness are welcome. Low-impact, low-intensity exercises and modifications to exercises will be demonstrated. Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Bring bottled water, an exercise or yoga mat, and a pair of hand weights (3 pounds for beginners, 5 pounds+ for advanced).Prime-Time Health Coaching For Adults and Seniors - A four-class course, starting March 7, 6:30 pm to 8 pm, $169. Prime-time health is a scientifically proven plan for feeling young and living longer. This simple healthy-aging program is designed to help adults and seniors understand how the body changes during prime time; prevent disease and unhealthy aging; boost energy, stress, less, sleep better, and sharpen thinking; reduce the risk of cancer and the "highs" (blood pressure and cholesterol); and become fit, strong and flexible. The interactive class offers simple and practical tools for everyday life to help avoid chronic illnesses and gain lasting wellness. A $10 material fee is payable to the instructor the first night of class. No discounts apply.
