Casting Call For Miller Gem

SHERMAN — The Sherman Players are casting for a spring production of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge, to be directed by John Taylor and produced by Ellen Burnett.

Written in 1950, A View from the Bridge is sometimes seen as an allegorical critique of its time, when McCarthyism was in full swing, and also as  an  updated Greek tragedy.

All roles are open. Auditions will be Sunday, February 15, and Monday, February 16, from 7 to 9 pm, at The Sherman Playhouse, on the hill in Sherman Center (behind the firehouse).

Rehearsals begin March 1, and the production will run weekends, April 16 to May 8.
