Chamber Dinner Dance

And Auction A Success

The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown held its Annual Dinner Dance and Auction on Saturday, January 31, at the Stony Hill Inn. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the members who donated the auction items, and especially to our corporate sponsors, Newtown Savings Bank, Avancé Esthétiques, Ashlar of Newtown, Newtown Florist, Curtis Packaging Corp, and Linnell Real Estate.

The highlight of the evening was a performance by students from the Newtown High School Drama Club who presented excerpts from their upcoming production of Les Miserables. The students received standing ovations from the audience, and deservedly so. We are impressed with the talent and passion of these students, and can honestly say that the event rose to a higher level because of their participation. We applaud you and thank you so much for spending your time and sharing your talent and enthusiasm with the chamber and their guests.
