Church Hill Accident

Motorist Robert Brown, 66, of Stratford, who was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina westward on Church Hill Road and was approaching that road’s intersection with The Boulevard at about 12:30 pm February 9, attempted to pass on the right a stopped westbound noncontact vehicle, which was waiting to make a left turn into the Lexington Gardens driveway, police report.

In making that maneuver, the Chevrolet struck a 2000 Audi A-4 that was parked on Church Hill Road’s westbound road shoulder and driven by Kathleen Davis, 50, of 38 Osborne Hill Road, police said.

There were no injuries, police said. Police issued Brown an infraction ticket on a charge of passing on the right.
