How do you plan to spend Valentine’s Day this year?

Linda Martins: “Every year we combine our Valentine’s Day celebration with my son’s birthday. He will be turning 28 on the 15th. I love all the holidays, but especially Valentine’s Day! I think of it as a sign that spring is coming.”

Steven Kostes: “This year my wife and I are going to St Rose of Lima Church’s Valentine’s Day dance. I also buy my wife roses and my kids candy.”

Lauren Kostes: “At Newtown High School you can buy your friend or [significant other] a chocolate rose. My father usually buys my brother and me candy.”

Steve Kostes: “At Newtown Middle School you can buy carnations or chocolates. I may buy something.”

Emily Flores: “We are exchanging valentines and having a party in my class this year at Reed [Intermediate School].”

Thomas Flores: “I will be turning 8 on the 13th and having a party on Valentine’s Day. We combine my birthday with Valentine’s Day every year.”
