Making The World A Friendlier Place

Friendship Cottage Cheese will award $20,000 in scholarship money to 16 high school seniors across Connecticut who have been accepted at an accredited college or university for the fall 2004 semester. Two students from each county will be awarded $1,000 to $3,000. The fifth annual Project Friendship Scholarship serves as a thank you to Connecticut residents for their support of Friendship Cottage Cheese.

Eligible students must be graduating high school seniors residing in Connecticut, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, and demonstrate leadership in school or community volunteer activities that promote a safe and friendly environment.

Applicants must also submit a 1,000-word or less essay explaining how they have made their high school a friendlier place and how they plan to apply their education to making the world a friendlier place.
