Matthew P. Hunt

Matthew P. Hunt, 18, of Bennetts Bridge Road, Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly on February 4 at his home.

He was born in Bridgeport, May 18, 1985, son of Dennis B. Hunt of Tampa, Fla., and Theresa R. Boyle of Danbury.

Matt was in his senior year at Newtown High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Ruth Hunt of Sandy Hook, and his maternal grandmother, Lillian Boyle of Bridgeport; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 12 at St Rose of Lima Church.

Interment will be in Newtown Village Cemetery in the spring.
