Dina Smolen, 91, of Monroe, died February 11 at Ashlar of Newtown. Mrs Smolen was born in Hudson, N.Y., a daughter of Isaac and Rebecca (Schrader) Stoller.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Jan Smolen and his wife, Laura, of Sandy Hook and Paul Smolen and his wife, Kathleen, of Glen Rock, N.J.; a brother, Carl Stoller of Woodbridge; and by his adored grandchildren, Elaine, Anne, and Jonathan. Mrs Smolen was predeceased by her loving husband, Samuel Smolen in 2001; and by six cherished sisters.

Services were held February 12 from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield, with interment following at Loyalty Cemetery.
