Exploring Patriotism

With The DAR

The Brookfield Museum & Historical Society will host a presentation by the Daughters of the American Revolution on Wednesday, February 21, at 7:30 pm. Diana Szatkowski, registrar, and Natalie Weise, vice regent, of the Mary Wooster DAR Chapter headquartered in Danbury will conduct a seminar titled “Exploring Your Patriotism.” The program will highlight the best approaches to initiate a genealogical search as well as give an overview of the activities and history of the DAR and the Mary Wooster Chapter, which was formed in March 1893. Attendees are encouraged to participate with questions or by sharing some of their own family history. Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be served after the presentation.
