MORRISTOWN, N.J. ANTIQUES SHOW RETURNS TO ARMORY MARCH 3–4

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — More than 100 antiques dealers from across the United States will assemble at the Morristown Armory on March 3–4 to take part in the 42nd edition of an antiques show sponsored by the Associated Antique Dealers of New Jersey. Profits support the association’s educational outreach grant program for New Jersey teachers. Allison Kohler of JMK Shows is the show’s director.

The show will feature a large selection of American, English, Continental, and Oriental furniture, dating from the Eighteenth to early Twentieth Century, fine paintings and prints, historical documents and autographs, antiquarian books and scientific instruments, Oriental rugs, American and European art pottery, all types of lighting, including table lamps, wall sconces and chandeliers, art glass, cut glass and Depression glass.

Appraisal services will be offered by Linda Roberts, a silver matching service by Seymour Sterling, museum quality porcelain and pottery restorations by Louis Perillo, who will also perform on-site china mending during show hours. Antique trunk restorations are the specialty of Shore Lore Antiques.

The Armory is at 430 Western Avenue. Show hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Admission to the show is $6 per person, or $5 with an advertisement.
