MORRISTOWN, N.J. — More than 100 antiques dealers from across the United States will assemble at the Morristown Armory on March 3–4 to take part in the 42nd edition of an antiques show sponsored by the Associated Antique Dealers of New Jersey. Profits support the association’s educational outreach grant program for New Jersey teachers. Allison Kohler of JMK Shows is the show’s director.

The show will feature a large selection of American, English, Continental and Oriental furniture, dating from the Eighteenth to early Twentieth Century, fine paintings and prints, historical documents and autographs, antiquarian books and scientific instruments, Oriental rugs, American and European art pottery, all types of lighting, including table lamps, wall sconces and chandeliers, art glass, cut glass and Depression glass.

Textiles dealers will showcase fine linens and laces, vintage designer fashions, women’s handbags and purses. The show will offer antique, estate, American Indian and designer signed costume jewelry. Porcelain and china collectors will have the opportunity to select from Royal Doulton, Staffordshire and Limoges.

Dealers include Glenbrook Antiques, Wilson Main Line, Country Squire, Klinesville House, Sally Orent, Chapman-Lada, Greenwich Antiques, Mah-Jong Antiques, Mary Ann Newman, Marvin Baer, Lynn Rogers, Stephen Foster, Fardin’s Rugs, Akin Lighting, Lady Bag International, The Main Event, R.B.C. Estate Jewelers, Wistaria, Lorraine Wambold, Seymour’s Sterling, A Touch of Glass and Howard Roberts.

Appraisal services will be offered by Linda Roberts, a silver matching service by Seymour Sterling, museum quality porcelain and pottery restorations by Louis Perillo, who will also perform on-site china mending during show hours. Antique trunk restorations are the specialty of Shore Lore Antiques.

The Armory is at 430 Western Avenue. Show hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Admission to the show is $6 per person, or $5 with an advertisement. Parking is free, and refreshments available. View www.jmkshows.com or call 973-927-9271 or 973-224-2797 for information.
