Post Prom Committee

Seeks Donations

The Post Prom Party Committee has been planning an entertaining, safe evening for Newtown High School seniors. The prom and post-party will be held May 4.

Last year, many local businesses made donations of prizes for a raffle to be held during the after-party. Brautigam Land Surveyors donated a laptop last year and plans to do so again this year.

Other items last year included certificates for manicures, coffee shops, videos, haircuts, restaurants, etc. Party planners are hoping to find generous souls who would donate iPods, DVD players, and other larger ticket items.

Last year, 170 students and guests attended the after-prom party.
