Singles Dance At The Fireside

Connecticut ConTacts, one of the state’s leading singles organizations, is proud to announce the grand opening of a new location for its singles dances: Fireside Inn in Newtown.

The group’s first dance at the new location will be on Saturday, February 28, from 8 pm to 1 am. Located two miles south of Newtown’s famous flagpole at 123 Main Street South (Route 25), the Fireside boasts a huge ballroom and fantastic dance floor. Between 400 to 500 singles are expected.

Admission is $15 and includes a hot buffet from 8 to 9:30 pm, as well as coffee and dessert at midnight. Dancing is to a mix of DJ’s Top 40, soft rock, recent oldies, and requests.

Patrons are urged to “dress to impress.” Jeans are not permitted.

“This is the second new location for us in just two months,” says ConTacts president Tina Auclair. “The Fireside Inn is a real landmark – an institution – in this area, and we’re thrilled to be able to hold a dance party there.”
