Margaret     Caldwell Lantry
Margaret Caldwell Lantry, 89, of Kingswood Drive, Bethel, formerly of Brookfield and Newtown, died peacefully at home on February 21.
She was the wife of the late Charles Lantry and mother of Susan Muller of Bethel.
Mrs Lantry was born in New York, October 12, 1911, a daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Laidlaw) Caldwell.
She was retired from the Perkin-Elmer Corporation, retiring at the age of 70 after 20 years of service.
She was a former volunteer at the Danbury Hospital and member of the First Congregational Church in Ridgefield.
In addition to her daughter, with whom she made her home, Mrs Lantry is survived by a son, John Lantry, presently of Cameroon, Africa; a granddaughter, Jennifer Muller of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Irene Mackin of Ridgefield and her husband William; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 24, at 10 am in the First Congregational Church, Ridgefield.
Interment will take place in Mapleshade Cemetery, Ridgefield, in the spring.
Friends will be received in the Kane Funeral Home, 41 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, on Friday, February 23, from 5:30 to 8 pm.
Memorial contributions in Mrs Lantryâs memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Western CT Chapter, 1 Selleck Place, Norwalk, CT.
