*March at The Acoustic Café will open with a benefit next Friday for The Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County.

“Women of Song,” to be offered at the Fairfield Avenue venue, will begin at 8 pm on Saturday, March 3. Tickets are $10, and proceeds will benefit the center dedicated to “strengthening women and families and to eliminating violence and abuse through education, intervention, advocacy and community collaboration.”

The show will feature performances by THE MELISSA MULLIGAN BAND, LIZ McNICHOLL, LARA HERSCOVITCH, ASULADO ROLLA and THE BENEFIT DIVAS (Ellen Lalicata, Suzanne Vick and Ellen Scakman).

*MARC COHN is making a return appearance to The Ridgefield Playhouse next month, and John Voket has a full preview of that concert elsewhere in this Enjoy section. The basics: Tickets are $50 and $55 for reserved seating, or $76 Gold Seating, which guarantees a seat within the first five rows within the center orchestra section as well as a ticket to the Meet & Greet following the performance. Call the box office (203-438-5795) or visit RidgefieldPlayhouse.org for ticket purchases or additional information.

*Fellow Grammy Award winner JOHN LEGEND will be at Mohegan Sun Arena on April 25. Tickets for that show, which will also feature a set by Grammy nominee Corinne Bailey Rae, went on sale Monday morning. Priced at $45 and $55, tickets are available through all TicketMaster outlets and the arena’s box office.

Until next week I’ll be seeing you... on the road.
