Where Has Your Canine Advocates Magnet Gone?

Canine Advocates of Newtown has added a fun contest to its ongoing efforts to raise awareness and funds for a new pound for Newtown. Members are asking everyone who has one of their popular “A New Pound for Newtown” blue and white car magnets to photograph the magnet (and people, too) in an interesting locale when they travel outside Connecticut. The winning photo will be randomly chosen to win a gift basket to be awarded after Labor Day. All entries must be received by September 7.

The first photo entry came from Roger Cyr of Newtown, who traveled to Frankfurt, Germany. Mr Cyr took this great photo of his CAN magnet at the site of Frankfurt town hall.

Photo entries should be emailed to director@CanineAdvocates.org. Remember to include your name, address, phone, and details about where the photo was taken.

Canine Advocates will select one photo each month to be published in The Bee. Magnets can be purchased for a minimum donation of $3 at C.H. Booth Library, Drug Center Pharmacy, Sandy Hook Barber Shop, Yankee Liquor, and Dr Evans’s office.
