Community Supported Youth At American Legion’s Inaugural Red, White & Brew Event

On Sunday, February 15, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 202 held its first fundraiser at NewSylum Brewing Company to raise funds to sponsor local high school juniors to attend American Legion Boys and Girls State week-long summer programs focusing on leadership and citizenship. Funds raised will also provide scholarships to graduating seniors.

State Representative Mitch Bolinsky, who is the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 202 commander, thanked the many sponsors of the event.
NewSylum was packed on Sunday afternoon during the event. The fundraiser featured a silent auction, raffle, and a pizza and pretzel buffet dinner with beverages.
