Michelle Ann Labrecque and Jeffrey Albert Haddad were married on August 8, 2003, at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, with Rev Robert Weiss officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ronald Labrecque of Sandy Hook.
The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Arthur Haddad of Danbury.
A reception following the ceremony was held at the Inn at Ethan Allen in Danbury.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a strapless, ivory satin gown with crystal-beaded bodice and carried a bouquet of ivory and salmon-colored roses with pearly center stephanotis and English ivy.
The matron of honor was Patricia Buzinkai of Kingston, Penn. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Bolton of Newtown, Susan White of San Diego, Calif., and Christine Mileto of Pittsburgh, Penn.
Best men were Christopher and Matthew Haddad of Danbury.
Ushers were Justin Labrecque of Atlanta, Ga., Christopher Holleran of Danbury, Brian Melody of Baltimore, Md., and Keith Lividini of Bethel.
The bride earned a bachelorâs degree at Duquesne University and a masterâs degree at the University of New Haven. She is currently furthering her education at Southern Connecticut State University. She is employed as a second grade teacher in the Region 15 School District.
The groom earned a bachelorâs degree at Mount St. Maryâs College and is currently pursuing a masterâs degree at Western Connecticut State University. He is employed as a fifth grade teacher in the Region 15 School District.
The couple took a two-week wedding trip to Hawaii.
