Theresa J. Hess

Theresa J. Hess, 43, of New Milford, died February 22, in Danbury Hospital.

In addition to her parents, Theresa is survived by four brothers: James E. Hess of Newtown, Richard W. Hess of Brookfield, Steven T. Hess of Wayne, Penn., and Kenneth J. Hess of Vail, Colo.; five sisters, Patricia A. Kelleher of Newtown, Carole A. Hess of Danbury, Mary E. Hess of Stamford, Janette McKeown of New Milford, and Barbara E. Sherrer of Brookfield. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Teri Asarito, Gregg Asarito, Ami Sherrer, Richard Hess, Alana Hess, Patrick Hess, Matthew Hess, Megan Kelleher, Alex Hess, and Alison Kelleher.

She was born in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., on October 15, 1960, a daughter of Richard F. and Elizabeth (Morgan) Hess of New Milford. Theresa was raised in Brookfield and was a graduate of Brookfield High School. She attended Post College in Naugatuck, and graduated with a BA degree in accounting.

Ms Hess was employed as an accountant for The Davies Company, Inc, of Norwalk and previously lived in Shelton and Milford.

She enjoyed playing volleyball and softball and was an avid UConn Women’s Basketball fan. She cherished the time she spent planning and attending family activities, especially the time spent with her nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 26 in Our Lady of the Lakes Church, New Milford. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
