Czeslawa Wasicki

Czeslawa Wasicki, 92, of Bridgeport died February 28 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Poland, she was the wife of the late Walter Wasicki, and lived in the Bridgeport area most of her life.

Survivors include a son, Henry P. Wasicki, and his wife Patricia, of Sandy Hook; and six grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon and Aaron Malin of Sandy Hook, Thomas and Susan Batura of Trumbull, Michele and Brad Hoben of Medway, Mass.,  Kevin Wasicki of Sandy Hook, Debbie Cambareri of Redding, and David Batura of Milford; as well as seven great-grandchildren. A daughter and son-in-law, Christine and William Batura, predeceased Mrs Wasicki.

Mrs Wasicki worked for the City Trust Company for more than16 years, but was always the heart of her family. She devoted her life to loving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in her very special way. "Babcia" loved to cook, share stories, and spend time with each of them. She especially enjoyed the company of her seven great-grandchildren.

She was an active Catholic and communicant at St Michael's Church in Bridgeport, and she was very proud of her Polish heritage.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, March 3, at 10 am (directly) in St Michael's Church, Pulaski Street, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours will take place Wednesday, March 2, from 4 to 7 pm, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
