Residents Sought For Commission Posts

First Selectman Pat Llodra is seeking residents to fill several opening on local appointed boards and commissions. In some cases the appointments are required to be affiliated with a specific political party, while in other cases unaffiliated voters are encouraged to consider serving.

Current openings exist on:

*The Conservation Commission (one open position available to any registered voter);

*Sustainable Energy Commission (one position open to any registered voter);

*The Board of Ethics (one alternate position open to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter);.

*The Employee Medical Benefits Board (an alternate position open to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter);.

*The Pension Committee (one position open to any registered voter) and

*The C.H. Booth Library Board (one vacant position available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter; candidate recommendations must be received by March 25).
