Joan B. Jacob, 89, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Newtown, Connecticut. She was born June 19, 1932, to George and Anna Stefanik in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On June 30, 1951, she married Tom Jacob at St Charles Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Joan enjoyed dancing, painting, and walking.

Survivors include her sister, Sandy Wasik, of Ansonia, Connecticut; her two daughters and her two sons, Patricia Gibson of Metuchen, New Jersey, Kathy Tredennick of Newtown, Connecticut, Thomas Jacob Jr of St Augustine, Florida, and Robert Jacob of Summerfield, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Megan, Shannon, Daniel, Christopher, and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Grayson, and Melia; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, from 1 until 3 pm at the Honan Funeral Home in Newtown, Connecticut. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 7, at St Rose Catholic Church in Newtown, Connecticut.
