OXFORD - Newtown resident Sarah Matula is showcasing some of her professional photography at Oxford Baking Company, 451 Oxford Road, through March 27.For more information about Ms Matula and her work, find Sarah Matula Photography on Facebook and visit sarahmatula.photography.

The coffee and tea shop is hosting her collection "Shelter and Beyond," which includes several pieces of Ms Matula's work that feature adopted animals and local landscapes.

Information from Ms Matula's recent "Shelter Pets - Changing Perceptions" exhibit will also be available. "Changing Perceptions" had been displayed at C.H. Booth Library last October and was created to disprove some common stereotypes about shelter animals. Some of those pieces will available for sale, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to animal rescues.

An opening reception for "Shelter and Beyond" will be conducted Sunday, March 5, from 1 to 3 pm. Complimentary coffee will be served.

Oxford Baking Company is open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6 pm; Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm; and Sunday, 8 am to 3 pm. The public is invited to view the exhibition any time the bakery is open.
