The Newtown Bridle Lands Association will present its fourth annual Dinner & Country Dance on Saturday, March 11, at the Edmond Town Hall.

The Newtown Bridle Lands Association will present its fourth annual Dinner & Country Dance on Saturday, March 11, at the Edmond Town Hall.

Music will be by The Wild Notes with Bill Fischer calling. There will be squares, contras and couple dances. Doors will open at 6 pm, followed by a Chili Cook-Off competition and dinner (BYOB) at 7 pm. Dancing will be from 8 to 10:30 pm.

No dancing experience is needed as all dances will be taught.

Admission for dinner and dance is $25 per person; dancing only is $10 per person.

All proceeds will benefit the NBLA equine scholarship fund.

Guest speakers will include Jessica Van Steensburg from Blue Seal Foods (talking about mare and foal nutrition), Kelly Payne from Triple Crown Nutrition (discussing carbohydrates and how they relate to your horse) and Dr Jennifer Nadeau of the University of Connecticut (talking about pasture management).
